• Copyediting - Before your manuscript goes to print, ensure that it is free of mistakes, inconsistencies, and unnecessary repetition.

• Content editing - This is a process of evaluating the content of your manuscript in detail, which includes checking for factual errors, contradictions, inconsistencies, discrepancies in the plot, character, or dialogue. Also, this process addresses any issues with theme development or narrative integration.

• Line editing - This process focuses on your use of language and writing style—the creative content of your manuscript—at the sentence and paragraph level. (Line editing is not content editing or copyediting.)

• Website copyediting - Before you “go live” with your website, ensure that the content is free of mistakes, inconsistencies and unnecessary repetition.

MANUSCRIPT EVALUATION

This process involves providing an overall assessment of the structure, story, mechanics, and genre characteristics of your manuscript.

PROOFREADING

This process involves reviewing (usually the final draft of your manuscript) for errors in, primarily: grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, minor language and formatting inconsistencies.
